Yielding only 97 bottles globally, The Balvenie Fifty Second
Edition is a unique marriage of two fifty year-old casks
selected by our Malt Master, Kelsey McKechnie. The Balvenie
Fifty Collection Second Edition draws liquid and inspiration
from the cask behind the First Edition release (European oak
refill butt, filled in 1973), married with a second American oak
hogshead cask, filled the same year.
While maintaining The Balvenie’s classic sweet honey style,
even after fifty years of maturation, The Balvenie Fifty
Collection Second Edition delivers unforgettable flavors of
matured oak, dates and citrus zest. The Second Edition will
play a critical role in the final liquid marriage of the Fifty
Collection with the Third Edition coming next year.
